I'm Back
I am back from my glorious vacation, but I am not really well rested! I'm not going to get into detail about the trip now since I have SO MUCH laundry and other things to catch up on before I can catch my breath. However, here is one of my favorite pics from the trip!

5 Years
Happy Anniversary to my Sweet Husband! We have been married 5 years today!
Mike, just saying I love you doesn't encompass all of the love I have for you. I would go to the ends of this world for you. Thank you for making me laugh everyday, for knowing what I am thinking at times without me having to say a word, for being the strong one. May the road that stretches out in front of us be as blessed as the road behind us.

Get me outta here!
I swear my brain is already on vacation! I can't think about anything else, and I even brought out the big red monster, aka my suitcase. I have already started packing, which should be good since this gives me a bunch of extra time to wonder if I have packed everything. We leave on Wednesday, but I wish it was tomorrow!Still feeling hopeful, even though I was a little bummed yesterday. I really thought this was going to be the month I was going to get pregnant. I was so sure! You couldn't tell me otherwise. So you can imagine my emotions yesterday when I discovered this wasn't going to be the month. You can't blame a girl for being blindly optimistic, can you? Part of me was kicking myself for letting my hopeful thoughts lead me astray, but I know that God wants me to get my hopes up. I know that He wants me to be hopeful in the plans He has laid out, but sometimes it is SO HARD to hang in there.

Hopeful
I don't know what it is, but there is something about this week that has me feeling so hopeful. Maybe it's the weather, or the nearness of my vacation, but I can't help but feel optimistic about the path stretching out in front me. It feels so good to put away the worries of yesterday and to think about all the possibilities that could be right around the corner. I told myself that I am not going to think about the what if"s in my life, and be thankful for what already is. I am surprising myself, because it is so not like to me to be this optimistic, and I think I have been letting myself drown in the sadness of what I don't have in my life (i.e. a baby). I am ready to change my outlook, say yes to opportunity, to believe the desires that God put in my heart and to just live.

Lazy Day
Although my plans for this weekend were deterred, I am still so happy to have the weekend off. It has actually been nice to do absolutely nothing. And when I say absolutely nothing, I mean NOTHING. I have been in my sweats since early afternoon and have been just laying around the house. It's been wonderful, although I do feel slightly guilty when I look at the stuffed laundry baskets. But I can do laundry anytime, right?
I got this little sweet treat from my friend Cheryl yesterday.
It is a key holder for your purse! I can never find my keys in the bottomless pit that is my purse, so when we were out for dinner on Thursday, Cheryl offered a solution in the form of this cute necessity. You just attach your keys, and there is a hook that then hangs from your purse, so you can always find your keys when you need to. Hallelujah! Thanks, C for the gift!
