Life Happens

It's been a rough couple of days in our house. Nothing terrible or life-threatening has happened. It's just life being, well...life.

Yesterday I was supposed to have dinner with Jeanie and Cheryl, and I had been looking forward to it all week. I haven't seen these friends of mine in a while, and I couldn't wait to relax over dinner and just chat with my girlfriends. Until it hit me at work. A terrible backache and headache all rolled into one. I went into work at 7 am, and was fine until about 3:00. I didn't want to get up and move. My belly felt like it weighed 100 lbs and was being stretched to the max, and the middle of my back was aching like no other. Compliment that with a headache, and every customer I saw telling me how big I was (seriously?), I had had it at the end of the day. I was flat out miserable. I ended up canceling with the girls, came straight home and immediately got into the shower where I bawled my eyes out. I think Mike was worried because after 5 minutes, he came into the bathroom to ask if I was ok. No offense to guys or my hubby, but I didn't think he would understand. How can you explain that while you are so happy to even be pregnant and feel so blessed, that at that moment you feel GINORMOUS, miserable, achy, conflicted, and downright sorry for yourself?

Then this morning, while Mike was gettting ready for work, he noticed that we have a leak in our house. The framing around our slider is leaking. What?? Such a strange place to have a leak. Our kitchen floor was soaked by the slider, and poor Cami's dog bed is now a thing of the past (thought I could salvage it, but not so much).

So, not the end of the world, but it's just a bunch of little things that when added together seem to make for a rough couple of days. Let's just hope Mike and I can keep our sanity!

Sarah-
It has been that kind of week for me too! I'm so happy the weekend is finally here and I can forget about work. I have just about had all I can take from the people I work with- 4 imparticular. I won't tire you with the details but just know- there is always tomorrow and we must let go and let GOD! It's hard to do but I'm trying! Hope you have a super weekend.

Isn't that always the way. Life always brings something new. Sometimes is sucks and sometimes it is great. You know that God always has a plan even though our plans do not always go along with it. His plans are always better. I just think that God has a great sense of humor.
