Hodgepodge

--For the second day in a row, we have woken up to a happy Taylor! She has been back to her old self for the past two days, and I couldn't be more relieved. I love to see her happy and laughing again. And although I usually don't mind when my girls want to snuggle with me, Taylor has been unusually clingy to me since her surgery. To the point where I couldn't even put her down without a total meltdown ensuing. I am so ecstatic that she is feeling better!

--Mike finally put a safety latch on our toilet! Doesn't sound like it would be thrilling news for most people, but it is for me! The girls are never in the bathroom without one of us, but when they are in there with me, they can't keep their hands out of the tiolet. So gross! After repeated no's and trying to tell them how icky it is, I was fed up. I like them to be able to be in there while I get ready for the day, but I cannot handle them reaching their hands in the toilet. It had to stop. Enough was enough. So, I came home yesterday to find my toilet seat latched down nice and tight! Let's hope I remember that in the middle of the night!

--I have to get started on shopping for the girls spring clothes. I think I am going to make a trip to Carters today. They have some super cute stuff out right now!

I see a pattern here...ok, I have a thing for ruffles right now. I can't get enough of them. I think they are just the cutest thing! Let's face it, summer clothes are WAY cuter than winter ones. Don't ya think?

--The Hunger Games is coming out this month, and I can hardly contain my excitement. Planning on making it a girls night! I am crossing my fingers that the movie is as good as the book. Rarely is that the case, so I am hoping to be pleasantly surprised!

--I am reading a really good book right now. It's this little gem right here...

Growing up Catholic, we always would give up something for Lent. I decided this Lent that I wouldn't focus so much on giving something up but would rather be more intentional with my relationship with God. Spend more time in prayer and reflection, etc.

That's it for today! I need to get the coffee going, and get the little monkeys some breakfast. Hope you all have a great day!
