Tomorrow is my 16 week appointment with Dr. Wisebaker and I have been looking forward to it since my last appointment. But I've also been feeling a little anxious, I guess, because I don't know what to expect from this appointment. ANd I am secretly hoping for an ultrasound. I don't think I will be getting one until 20 weeks, but I am crossing my fingers that Dr. Wisebaker will want to do one. I haven't seen my babies since I was 8 weeks along, and I am dying to see them!

Part of my problem, too, is this book right here:

Sometimes too much information is not a good thing! Sometimes too much information can scare you half to death and make you worry yourself crazy! Really, this book is amazing and I have learned a lot, but there are times when I have just have to put it down and give myself a reality check.

Anyway, hope everyone is staying safe and warm--we are under a winter storm watch, and it's freezing here in Michigan. I can't wait until spring...

Oh honey, do I ever know what you're talking about. I once threw "What to Expect When You're Expecting" across the room in frustration because every page seemed to scare me instead of encourage me and help me. (I really don't recommend that book, by the way.) Finally I stopped reading pregnancy books and just started reading books on being a mommy. It turned my focus in the right direction and I stopped thinking constantly of all the "what-if's".
I will secretly hope with you that you get that ultrasound! God bless you, friend, and your dear little babes!

I've quit reading books, it just scared me too much. I'm just relying on my friends these days! Hope all is well!
