Oh, the woes...

I am fed up.

I can't stand it anymore!

I need to vent a little...

Maternity clothes. That's what's on my mind the past couple days. Why is it that so many maternity clothes, (ok, pants specifically) are just down right UGLY? I have reached the point where my belly band is no longer working for me with my pre-pregnancy pants, and I have got to start wearing my maternity pants. I am less than thrilled, because they are not good. They give me a serious case of flat butt syndrome. I bought these pants at Motherhood Maternity on a whim, thinking "They aren't that bad. Besides, I just want to be comfortable." I was lying to myself.

After work last night, I stopped by Old Navy to check out their maternity section, and it was a waste of my time. I think they must be in a transition period between their clearance winter items and their new spring stuff, because there was seriously only a handful of items to choose from, mostly tank tops and rolled up capris.

HELP!! If you have found any cute, dress pants in black or brown in maternity, please let me know. I know shopping online is an option, but sometimes it's just better if you can try it on. Tops are not an issue and I have found a lot of cute ones, but pants are the bane of my existence. If only I could wear my yoga pants to work, then all would be right with the world.

I have had a ton of luck at GAP Maternity. They are a little pricey ;-( but it you are there at the right time the can have some great sales! That's the only place I have found things half way decent! Try Target too - they sometime has decent maternity things. I am surprised there are so few maternity stores out there. Not sure where everyone shops. Motherhood was a total let down! Good luck finding something cute.

I agree...Target and Gap had the best maternity stuff. I never had any luck with Old Navy's stuff. Gap online always had some good deals, too. Good luck!

I am with you on maternity clothes!! Motherhood is the worst place ever...I bought a sweater from there online...it looked ok on the website, but when it arrived in the mail, it was hideous!! I'm never shopping there again. Their clothes just look..cheapy.
I've heard good things about Gap. I've looked at their stuff online and most of their clothes look pretty cute! Definately check them out!!

Check out Target. I have recently lose some weight and was cleaning out some clothes, but kept some of my larger sized pants. My intention is to keep them and use them as maternity pants. My husband told me that I was in denial since I love Target so much and would be purchasing some cute maternity clothes. I think that he is right.

Ann Taylor Loft, Gap, Target and Old Navy -- ONLINE! They have different things than in the stores and usually it's cheaper. I have some awesome maternity stuff from GAP and Ann Taylor. Love. :) Good luck!!
