This week has seriously been the longest week of my life. It will not end.
Work was tough this week as we had to get ready for our Regional President to visit.
However, I did have a nice day off yesterday! I did nothing except eat and lay around the house. Mike and I went out for lunch and then came home and fell asleep on the couch. I am pretty sure that negated my workout from earlier in the morning. When I did manage to crack open an eyelid, it was only long enough to reach for the remote and try to catch up on some shows I had DVR'd. Don't get me started on my new favorite show, Deadliest Catch. Why some show about crab fishing in the Bering Sea appeals to me, I cannot tell you. Just know that I can't get enough.
Finally, I had dinner at the Olive Garden with Jeanie and Cheryl. No surprise that our dinner took 4 hours! I am pretty sure our waiter was ready to see us go. He just stopped coming by the table after a while. What can I say? When we get together, we have everything and nothing to talk about all at once. Like hot rollers, funerals, the History Channel, and the lack of Vitamin D we are getting (darn rain).
It's days like yesterday that get me through the longest weeks of my life. That and coffee...

Ugh, my longest week is coming up this week, starting Tuesday. Lots of travel, business meetings, dinner meetings, more meetings than you can count. I hope mine ends on a note of good food and rest, as well!
