One Year Old: A Love Letter

Dear Morgan and Taylor,


Today is your first birthday! I never knew that time could go by so fast until you came home from the hospital. I remember bringing you home, and you were so tiny and so perfect. I would rock you and just stare at you because I couldn't believe that you were finally here. I loved you completely and with a love that I had never felt before. God had certainly blessed your daddy and I when he gave us you.

You have changed so much in the past 12 months. I can't even believe it that we are at this day already! You have distinct personalities and even though you are twins, you are so different. I love your little personalities and you both make us laugh everyday. You are such a joy! I am so lucky to be your mom.

My hopes and prayers for your future are this: I pray that you will grow healthy and strong, have a huge heart for others, that you will follow hard after God. I hope love and happiness surround you for all of your days. I pray you will learn the power of prayer and how important family is. I hope for many blessings to come into your life! I hope you will know that I will never leave you and that I will always be here for you no matter what.
